It was good to see some who had retired and the many, many officers and civilians I have worked with over the years. I have always had a passion for the victims and Durham Regional Police has afforded me the opportunity over the last twenty-three years to work in a team environment to give them closure and to see justice served. The last nine years were spent in the Sexual Assault Unit and it gave me great pleasure to give the children a voice and a gentle place to fall. The officers I have worked with over the years were professional, dedicated and their expertise dealing with major crimes were second to none. I shall miss everyone, but look forward to a new chapter in my life. | | |
