I would like to thank everyone at 17 division in Oshawa for making me feel so welcome on my ride-along. On Saturday May 31st I had the opportunity to participate in a ride-along with 2 officers. I was only scheduled for an 8 hour shift, but being around such stand-up police officers, I chose to stay until the end of the night shift giving me 14 hours worth of experience with Durham Regions Front Line Officers. Shortly I will be completing testing with A.T.S and I have looked into several different departments, however, taking part in this ride-alone has made my decision quite clear on which police service I would like to be a member of. Thanks again....... I hope we can do it again soon.
