Crime Prevention/Community Services Unit

 As the name suggests, the Community Services fosters partnerships with community groups to promote the safety of all residents of Durham Region. This Unit, in conjunction with other community associations and groups, coordinates community safety programs such as the VIP Program, Neighbourhood Watch, and the Kids' Safety Village. Members of the Unit reach thousands of students, seniors, business owners and residents each year through safety programs and community safety committees.
