 Rose Rockbrune is currently the Finance Manager for a Medical Device and Equipment company operating out of Markham, Ontario. The company, known as Johnson and Johnson Medical Companies (JJMC), is part of Johnson and Johnson which has just celebrated its 125th anniversary.
Before joining the JJMC, Rose Rockbrune worked with in a number of companies across a wide spectrum of industries. Rose has worked in the automotive manufacturing, aerospace manufacturing, high-tech equipment manufacturing, retail/wholesale and banking. In Rose’s early years, she was privy to the hands-on operations of her parents’ businesses in Dry Cleaning and Hospitality. In addition, Rose has worked with the Internal Audit section at Mentor, assisting with the set up of the SOX documentation requirements for the Canada location as well as the documentation for two other locations.
Rose holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from York University (1997) as well as a professional accounting designation; a CMA from the Ontario Society of Management Accountants (1992).
Rose has served on two other public boards. Rose was a trustee on the Oshawa Public Library Board, which oversees the Oshawa Public Library branches. Prior to that, Rose also served as trustee and Treasurer for five years for Personal Attendant Care, a Ministry of Health (LHIN) funded company specializing in providing home care and assistance.
Rose was born and resides in Oshawa, Ontario. Rose is married to Robert Rockbrune. They have two children, Holly and Megan.
