Kids’ Safety Village Hosts Annual Durham Bike Rodeo

Members of the public and media are invited to attend the Annual Durham Bike Rodeo, an event dedicated to promoting safe bicycle use among people of all ages.

The event will be held on June 6 at the Kids' Safety Village in Whitby. The cost is a $2 donation or a non-perishable food item, which will all be given to charity.

The event is sponsored and run by the Durham Region Health Department, the Head Injury Association of Durham Region, the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario, and the Durham Regional Police Service.

The Bike Rodeo will feature bike and helmet checks, face painting and other fun activities for kids.

Professional bike mechanics will be on hand to assist with bicycle maintenance.

WHERE: Kids' Safety Village of Durham Region - 1129 Athol Street, Whitby (behind Kathleen Rowe Memorial Public School).

WHEN: Saturday, June 6

TIME: 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
