Please join members of the Durham Regional Police, Whitby Fire, Durham EMS and Whitby Hydro for a day of fun at Whitby’s Community Safety Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m on Saturday, June 11, officers, firefighters and paramedics will be putting on demonstrations at Whitby Fire Headquarters at 111 McKinney Drive.

More than 50 displays will be outside, including Deputy Chief Scott Burns sitting in the dunk tank at 11:45 a.m. and K9 demonstrations at 10:45 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. A raffle for a helicopter and marine-unit ride-along will be held, as well as a silent auction, bouncing castles, magicians, a teddy bear clinic and much more.

Enjoy a barbeque and refreshments and spend the day learning from Durham’s leaders in community safety.
