The next scheduled Durham Regional Police Services Property Auction will be held on Friday August 26, 2011. The items for auction, including bicycles, electronic equipment and tools, can be previewed at 2:00 p.m. and the auction will begin at 5:00 p.m.
These are items seized during police investigations that have not been claimed by their rightful owners and are no longer required for court purposes.
The Police Services Act enables the Police Services Board to spend the proceeds from the auction in the public interest, allowing the Board to support local charitable causes.
