25-Year-Old Male Injured in Ajax Shooting

Police located a 25-year-old male with serious injuries after a shooting overnight in Ajax.  

On Thursday, February 8, 2024, at approximately 9:20 p.m., members of West Division responded to reports of a shooting and an injured male in the area of Ivers Court and Westney Road in Ajax. Officers arrived on the scene and located a male suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to a Toronto-area hospital with serious injuries. Police were assisted by our K-9 Unit, Air1 and Tactical Support Unit, the area was searched with negative results.

Investigators are looking for two male suspects that fled from the scene northbound towards Rossland Road. There are no descriptors at this time.  

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have security camera footage or dash cam footage from the area of Westney Road and Ivers Court, or anyone who may have any other information about this incident to contact police.
