Gun, Drugs and Cash Seized During an Investigation

An investigation by the Central East Community Response Team has resulted in gun, drugs and cash being seized in Oshawa.
On January 27, 2023, members of the Central East CRU Team concluded an investigation into drug trafficking throughout Oshawa. Police arrested three males and, with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit, a search warrant was executed at a residence on Buckingham Avenue. The investigation resulted in the seizure of a loaded firearm, cocaine, Fentanyl, methamphetamines and cash. Total estimated value of drugs seized is approximately $100,000.
Baldwin CLARKE, age 31, of No Fixed Address and Luke MARTELL, age 34, of Oshawa, face drug-related offences that include: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine).
Rashane JARRETT, age 34, of No Fixed Address faces numerous firearms and drug-related charges that include: Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (methamphetamine) and Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine); Possess Loaded Restricted/Prohibited Firearm; Unlicensed Person Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon; Possession of a Firearm Knowing Serial Number Has Been Altered/Defaced/Removed and Possession of a Prohibited Device.
They were held for a bail hearing. A photo of the firearm, drugs and currency seized is attached.
