Police Execute Search Warrant at an Unlicensed Cannabis Dispensary

Police concluded a drug investigation of an illegal cannabis dispensary in Oshawa.

On Friday, February 2, 2024, members of the Central East Division Community Response Team executed a search warrant at “My Legacy” an unlicensed cannabis dispensary on King Street East. Officers seized cannabis, cash and other cannabis products with a combined value of more than $ 240,000.

Two employees, a 54-year-old male of Toronto and a 43-year-old female of Barrie were both arrested and charged with: Possess Cannabis for the Purpose of Selling and Possess Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Not Exceeding $5,000.

Both were released on an Undertaking.
