Suspect Sought After Painting Racist Graffiti in Clarington

Investigators are appealing to the public for assistance in finding the person responsible for painting racist graffiti on a bus stop in Clarington.

On Thursday, November 28, 2024, members of East Division responded to a hate motivated property damage call at a bus stop located at Roenigk Drive and King Street West.  Officers arrived on scene and observed racist language written in various locations at the bus stop. 

Investigators are appealing for anyone in the area who may have seen anything suspicious to call police. 

Anyone with cell phone, dashcam, surveillance footage or information about this incident is asked to contact the Durham Regional Police at 1-888-579-1520.
