Human Trafficking

This class is available on Tuesdays from October to June

Grade 7/8 students will have a day instructed by Victim Services of Durham Region.

The teen IRL program is an immersive learning program that will provide students with practical tools using scenarios-based learning to protect themselves and their peers from various forms of exploitation and violence.

The students will also participate in a virtual reality game “In Your Shoes” to engage the youth in various topics like consent, dating violence, cyber safety, gang awareness, human trafficking and more.

Class is scheduled for 10:00am-1:30pm

Maximum 30 students per class.
