Male Arrested for Multiple Break-and-Enters in Oshawa
A 33-year-old male has been arrested and charged for 13 break-and-enters in Oshawa.
Between May 28, 2025 and June 23, 2025, eleven units at a storage facility in the area of Ritson Road South and Dean Avenue were broken into.
Members from the Central East Division Criminal Investigation Branch conducted an investigation and identified a suspect. Investigators determined the same suspect was responsible for a break-and-enter at a church on July 12, 2025 and a business on August 5, 2025.
On Thursday, August 14, 2025, members from the East Crime Team located the suspect and he was arrested without incident.
Jesse FINCH, age 33, of no fixed address, is charged with: Break and Enter to Commit x12; Break and Enter with Intent; Disguise with Intent x11; Possess Property OBC Under $5000 x2; Possess Break-In Instruments; Theft of Motor Vehicle; and FTC with Probation x13.
He was held for a bail hearing.
At the time of his arrest, FINCH was on probation for similar charges.
