Residents are invited to attend Brooklin Memorial Park in Whitby on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. This free community event is inclusive and fun for guests of all ages. 

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) officially launched its newest marine vessel today at the Port Perry Marina, marking a significant investment in public safety, marine patrol, and border protection across Durham Region.

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) Youth in Policing (YIP) Initiative proudly hosted its annual Ripple Effect Youth Forum on July 23, 2026, welcoming more than 360 youth from across Ontario for a day of leadership, inspiration, and personal development.

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) is proud to launch the 22nd annual Police Chief for a Day Contest—a unique opportunity for Grade 5 students to step into the shoes of Chief Peter Moreira and lead the Service for a day.

Over the weekend DRPS' Central East Division hosted their 2026 Oshawa Community Safety Day, which saw over 1,200 attendees come out and enjoy various activities.
