On Saturday, January 17th, 2026, the Durham Regional Police Services’ Youth in Policing Initiative hosted its 2026 IMPACT Youth Forum.

January is Crime Stoppers Month and this year the theme is “Safe Streets, Strong Communities … Together We Can Stop Crime,” to encourage people to use the anonymous service to help the police solve crime. Communities are safer when we work together to solve crime.

The Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) has officially wrapped up its 37th Annual Food and Toy Drive, and once again, the generosity of our communities has been nothing short of extraordinary.

DRPS members teamed up with the Shops at Pickering City Centre on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, for the annual Shop with a Cop, a day filled with holiday spirit and community generosity.
