At least two suspects sought after violent armed assault in Oshawa.
Police are searching for at least two suspects after a violent armed assault at a residence in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at approximately 9:35 p.m., in the area of Northbrook Street and Northgate Crescent, two males approached the victim while he stood in his driveway. The suspects engaged the victim in conversation before assaulting him. The victim attempted to flee back into his residence but was followed by the suspects where the assault continued. One of the suspects produced a knife and attempted to stab the victim before both suspects fled to a nearby waiting vehicle.
The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The first suspect is described as: male, Brown, 20-30 years-old, with facial hair. He was wearing black pants, and a black hoodie.
The second suspect is described as: male, Black, 20-30 years-old, with facial hair. He was wearing a black winter jacket, and red/white/black hoodie.
The suspect vehicle is described as a light-coloured Chevrolet sedan.
