Fatal Collision in Ajax

A 36-year-old male has succumbed to his injuries after a single vehicle collision in Ajax.

On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at approximately 3:10 p.m., members of West Division responded to a single vehicle collision in the area of Beck Crescent and Chambers Drive. A snowplow being operated by a 36-year-old male was located stopped against a snowbank after he suffered a medical episode. Officers arrived on scene and attempted life saving measures after the driver was found without vital signs. The male was transported to local-area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. 

The cause of this collision appears to be medical related. The DRPS Collision Investigation Unit is investigating the collision along with the coroner.
