Four Males are Wanted After Break-and-Enters in Whitby
Police are searching for four suspects who are part of an organized group responsible for at least 20 break-and-enters across Whitby.
Between November 2025 and February 2026, members of the Central West Division Criminal Investigations Branch began an investigation into four suspects who committed multiple break-and-enters. As a result, investigators launched Project Sonoma to target this small organized crime group. The suspects would enter homes by smashing the rear sliding glass doors and target the home’s master bedroom for high-value items.
Ion DULCEANU, age 25 from Toronto is wanted for: Break-and-Enter x20.
Madalin-Florin MOLDOVEANU, age 31 from Toronto is wanted for: Break-and-Enter x20.
Ionel DUMITRU, age 52 from Toronto is wanted for: Break-and-Enter x20.
Victor DUDUIANU, age 55 from Oshawa is currently in custody with another police service and wanted for: Break-and-Enter x20.
The suspects are also facing charges from several other police services.
MOLDOVEANU, DULCEANU and DUDUIANU are facing at least 21 charges with the Halton Regional Police Service related to similar offences.
DUMITRU and DUDUIANU are facing at least six charges with York Regional Police related to similar offences.
MOLDOVEANU, DULCEANU and DUDUIANU are facing at least 39 charges with the Toronto Police Service related to similar offences.
Investigators are urging the suspects to contact counsel and turn themselves in to police. Anyone who is found to be assisting these suspects to evade police is guilty of an offence under the Criminal Code of Canada and will be prosecuted to the full extent.
