Help Solve a Crime Identifies Female in Counterfeit Currency Investigation

A suspect has been identified after her image was shared through a Help Solve a Crime post on the DRPS website. Investigators received information from the public, and a warrant has now been issued for her arrest in connection with the use of counterfeit currency at several businesses across Durham Region.

On Sunday, December 14, 2025, a female attended the Walmart located at 2320 Durham Regional Highway 2 in Bowmanville and used four counterfeit $100 bills to make a purchase. The following day the suspect attended a Walmart in Oshawa and used counterfeit $100 bills to make another purchase before attending a Walmart in Ajax to return the purchased items for legitimate Canadian currency.

Aaliyah Kamiria ABDALLA, age 24 from Oshawa is wanted for: Fraud Under $5000 x2, Utter Counterfeit Currency x2, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 x2.
