Loaded Firearm and Drugs Seized in Bowmanville

Officers seized a loaded firearm and drugs following the execution of a search warrant in Bowmanville.

On Thursday, November 6, 2025, members of the DRPS East Crime Team concluded an investigation which resulted in a Criminal Code search warrant and a Controlled Drugs and Substances search warrant being executed at a residence in the area of Bowmanville Avenue and Hartwell Avenue. Officers seized a loaded handgun, a large quantity of cocaine and fentanyl, as well as cash.  

Four individuals were at the residence and arrested without incident.

Andrew ROBINSON, age 39 of Clarington is charged with several offences including: Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a License and Registration Certificate; Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm; Possess Firearm with Altered Serial Number; Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine); Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl); Possess Firearm While Prohibited x4

Derrick CROSSEY, age 38 of Clarington is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine); Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)

Barry BEERS, age 65 of Clarington is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine); Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl)

Kayla DONNISON, age 38 of Scugog is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine); Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (Fentanyl) and Fail to comply with Release Order.

All were held for a bail hearing.
