Male and Female in Custody After Stolen Vehicle Investigation

A male and female are in custody after a stolen vehicle investigation located several stolen vehicles in Pickering.

In late December, 2025, investigators received information about a stolen vehicle believed to be on a residential property in Pickering.  

Members of the West Division Criminal Investigations Branch, Auto Theft Unit, and Community Response Unit executed a search warrant and located several stolen and re-vinned vehicles. A male and female suspect were taken into custody without incident.

Kevin BERRY, age 50 from Pickering is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking Over $5000 x2. 

Shannon Marie LEYNES, age 44 from Pickering is charged with: Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime for the Purpose of Trafficking Over $5000 x2.

Both were released on an Undertaking.
