Male and Female Wanted After Numerous Locker Thefts in Clarington

Police are searching for a male and female after they committed a series of locker thefts at recreation centres across Clarington.

In December 2025, members of the East Division Criminal Investigations Branch began an investigation into a male and female responsible for numerous locker thefts at the Courtice Community Complex located at 2950 Courtice Road and the Diane Hamre Recreation Complex located at 1780 Rudell Road. The suspects forcefully accessed lockers and stole wallets, and banking cards. The suspects then used the bank cards at retail locations for high value fraudulent purchases.

Eduard-Andrei SANDU, age 35 of Toronto is wanted for: Fraud Under $5000 x16, Possess/Use Credit Card Obtained by Offence x11, Theft Under $5000 x3, Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence x3, Have Face Disguised x2, Possess Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 x5, Personation to Gain Advantage x5, and Mischief Under $5000.

Irina-Georgiana DIDEI, age 29 of North York is wanted for: Theft Under $5000 x3, Conspiracy to Commit an Indictable Offence x3, Have Face Disguised x2,
