Male Arrested After Armed Robbery at Restaurant in Oshawa
A male is facing several charges after an armed robbery at a fast-food restaurant in Oshawa.
On Monday, January 26, 2026, at approximately 10:50 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call at the Church’s Chicken located at 70 King Street East. A male armed with a knife entered the restaurant and demanded cash from an employee. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody.
No physical injuries were reported.
Charlie Cameron COOK, age 22 from Oshawa is charged with: Robbery, Mischief Under $5000, Possess Weapons Dangerous, Possess Prohibited/Restricted Weapon, and Disguise with Intent.
He was held for a bail hearing.
