Male Arrested After Assaulting Two Officers in Oshawa
A male is facing charges after entering police only property and injuring two on duty officers in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at approximately 7:00 p.m., members responded to the parking lot of Central East Division after receiving an emergency alert for immediate assistance from other officers. An unknown male had entered a police only area of the property and confronted two on duty officers. The suspect approached and assaulted the two officers resulting in significant injuries to both. The injured officers with assistance from responding officers quickly restrained the suspect and took him into custody following a conducted energy weapon (CEW) deployment.
Both injured officers were transported to a local-area hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Mustafa SADAT, age 25 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm x2, and Assault Police Officer x2.
He was held for a bail hearing.
