Male Arrested After Slashing Another Male with Knife in Ajax
A male is facing charges after assaulting another male with a knife in Ajax.
On Monday, March 9, 2026, at approximately 6:40 p.m., members of West Division responded to an armed person call at the Christian Faith Outreach Centre located at 125 Commercial Avenue. Two males were involved in an altercation when one of the males brandished a knife and slashed the other. The suspect fled the area prior to police arrival. A short time later the suspect was located and taken into custody without incident.
The victim was transported to a local-area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Donovan WILSON, age 60 from Whitby is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Possess Weapon Dangerous, and Breach Probation x2.
At the time of his arrest, the male was already under a court order that prohibited him from possessing weapons.
He was held for a bail hearing.
