Male Arrested After Stabbing in Ajax

A male is facing several charges after stabbing another male in Ajax.

On Friday, February 20, 2026, at approximately 5:55 a.m., members of West Division responded to an armed person call at the Christian Faith Outreach Centre located at 158 Harwood Avenue South. Two males were involved in a verbal altercation when one of the males brandished an edged weapon and stabbed the other male. Officers arrived on scene and located the victim. He was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. A short time later, officers located the suspect and took him into custody without incident. The suspect suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local-area hospital.

Patrick Bless EVBUOMWAN, age 33 of No Fixed Address is charged with: Aggravated Assault, Assault with a Weapon, Assault, Possess Weapon Dangerous, and Fail to Comply with Probation Order.  

He was held for a bail hearing.
