Male Arrested After Stabbing in Oshawa
A male is facing charges after stabbing another male at a residence in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, February 4, 2026, members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Athol Street East and Ritson Road South. A male stabbed another male after a verbal altercation inside a residence. Officers arrived on scene and took the suspect into custody without incident. The victim suffered serious injuries and was treated by emergency medical personnel.
Robert RYALEN, age 60 from Oshawa is charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm, Assault with a Weapon, and Possess Weapon Dangerous.
He was held for a bail hearing.
