Male Arrested for Drug Possession After Traffic Stop in Oshawa
A male is facing several charges after being found in possession of drugs during a traffic stop in Oshawa.
On Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at approximately 10:40 p.m., members of Central West Division initiated a traffic stop in the area of Stevenson Road South and Laval Drive. Officers observed a quantity of drugs in the vehicle and subsequently arrested the driver. A search of the vehicle located over 1400 grams of cannabis in addition to other drugs, and drug paraphernalia.
Gian Allan RAY, age 40 from Ajax is charged with: Possess Over 30 Grams of Cannabis in Public Place, Possession of Cannabis for Distributing, and Possession of Schedule III Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (psylocibin).
He was released on an Undertaking.
