Male Arrested in Stolen Vehicle in Pickering

A male was arrested Tuesday morning in Pickering after being found in a stolen vehicle.

On Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at approximately 4:45 a.m., members of West Division responded to the area of Arathorn Court and Melman Street after receiving reports of a stolen vehicle mapping in the area. Officers located the occupied vehicle, successfully blocked it in, and arrested the male driver without incident.

Abdullah LAHIR, age 18, of Pickering, is charged with multiple offences, including:  Possession of Property Obtained by Crime – Exceeding $5000; Theft of a Motor Vehicle; Possess Electronic Device for Motor Vehicle Theft; Possess Break-In Instrument; Fail to Comply with Release Order x4 and Fail to Comply with Undertaking x2

He was held for a bail hearing.
