Male Facing Charges After Child Luring Investigation (1)

A 30-year-old male has been arrested after a child luring investigation.  

In late May 2025, members of the DRPS Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) began an investigation into an adult male communicating with a 12-year-old girl online. The male sent sexually explicit messages and shared sexually explicit material to the victim.

On November 11, 2025, members from the DRPS ICE Unit executed a Criminal Code Search Warrant at the suspect’s residence in Bowmanville and arrested the suspect without incident. 

Police are concerned there may be other victims and would like to speak with anyone with information. The male suspect operated under the username “sinister.illustrations.”” on TikTok and Instagram

Taylor COMEAU, age 30 of Bowmanville, is charged with: Luring a Person Under 18 for the Purpose of Making Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material; Luring a Person Under the Age of 16 for the Purpose of Facilitating Sexual Assault; Luring a Person Under the Age of 16 for the Purpose of Facilitating Sexual Interference and Making Sexually Explicit Material Available to a Person Under the Age of 18 for the Purpose of Facilitating Making Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Material 

He was held for a bail hearing.
