Male in Custody After Stabbing in Oshawa
One male has been arrested after a stabbing in Oshawa.
On Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 1:10 a.m., members from Central East Division responded to a stabbing at a residence in the area of Olive Avenue and Albert Street. Officers arrived on scene and located one victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was transported to a local area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was arrested on scene without incident.
Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.
Patrick LUMMISS, age 21 from Oshawa is charged with: Assault Cause Bodily Harm; Assault with a Weapon x2; Possess Weapon Dangerous to Public Peace; Fail to Comply with a Release Order; Fail to Comply with Probation Order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
