Male Suspect Wanted in Oshawa Stabbing

One suspect has been arrested and police are searching for a 31-year old male after a stabbing in Oshawa.

On Monday, November 24, 2025, at approximately 3:20 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to Albert Street and Albany Street for an armed person call. Officers arrived on scene and located a female who had been stabbed. The victim was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.  Two suspects fled prior to police arrival.

Further investigation revealed the two suspects were linked to two previous stabbings in Oshawa that left two victims with minor injuries. 

On Wednesday, November 26, 2025 police located and arrested one of the suspects without incident. 

Investigators have identified the second suspect as 31-year old Jose LOPEZ of Oshawa. LOPEZ is described as: male, Hispanic, medium build, brown short hair and has a goatee. A photo of LOPEZ can be viewed at www.drps.ca

If you see this male, do not approach and call 9-1-1 immediately. 

Jose LOPEZ, age 31 of Oshawa is wanted for several offences including: Aggravated Assault x3; Assault with Weapon or Imitation Weapon x3; Possess Weapon for Committing an Offence x3; Fail to Comply with Probation Order x12; Disobey Lawful Order of the Court x6

 

Sharlie BLOXAM, age 30 of Oshawa is charged with several offences including: Assault x3; Assault with Weapon or Imitation Weapon; Possess Weapon for Committing an Offence; Uttering Threats / Death or Bodily Harm and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon Knowing no Authority 

BLOXAM was held for a bail hearing.
