Male Wanted After Armed Robbery at Cash Advance Business in Pickering

Police are searching for a male after an armed robbery at a cash advance business in Pickering.

On Friday, March 20, 2026, at approximately 3:55 p.m., members of West Division responded to an armed robbery at The Cash Shop located at 1660 Kingston Road. A male entered the business and forced the doors to a secure employee area open. The suspect made threats to an employee with a weapon while demanding cash. The suspect stole electronics and more than $10,000 cash before fleeing the area.

The victim did not suffer any physical injuries.

The suspect is described as: male, Black, 25-30 years old, approximately 6’2” tall, with a slim build.
