Male Wanted on Canada-Wide Warrant

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a wanted male who is believed to be in Durham Region.

Jermaine WEEKES, age 40, is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant in relation to a Winnipeg Police Service extortion investigation. WEEKES has previously lived in Ajax and is believed to be in the Durham area.

Anyone that has information on the suspect’s location is asked to contact Detective Broadfoot of the DRPS Offender Management Unit at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 5357 or the Winnipeg Police Service Major Crimes Unit at 204-986-6219.
