Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Collision in Port Perry

A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Port Perry.

On Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at approximately 7:30 p.m., members of North Division responded to a collision in the area of Simcoe Street and Queen Street.  A Dodge SUV was northbound on Simcoe Street when a 74-year-old male pedestrian was struck while attempting to cross the roadway.  The pedestrian suffered serious life-threatening injuries and was transported via Air Ornge to a Toronto-area trauma centre. The driver of the Dodge was uninjured and remained on scene.

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
