Pedestrian Struck in Motor Vehicle Collision
Pedestrian struck in motor vehicle collision in Oshawa.
On Sunday, October 26, 2025, at approximately 2:00 p.m., members of East Division responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian in the area of Olive Avenue and Townline Road South.
A motor vehicle was heading east on Olive Avenue, making a left-hand turn onto Townline Road South, when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway at a marked crosswalk.
The 66-year-old pedestrian was seriously injured and transported to a local-area hospital where they remain in critical condition.
The driver of the motor vehicle remained on scene and did not sustain any injuries.
Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
