Pedestrian Struck in Pickering

A 60-year-old male pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Pickering.

On Saturday, November 29, 2025, at approximately 10:40 a.m., members of West Division responded to a pedestrian involved collision in the area of Kingston Road and Fairport Road. A 60-year-old male pedestrian was walking on the shoulder of the roadway when a white SUV left the roadway striking him. The 46-year-old male driver remained on scene and cooperated with police.  The pedestrian was transported to a Toronto-area trauma centre where he remains in critical condition.

Members of the DRPS - Collision Investigation Unit, attended the scene to conduct an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. The roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
