Police are looking to identify a suspect after a break and enter into a restaurant in Whitby.

On Sunday, July, 27, 2025 at approximately 1:10 a.m., a male attended Captain George’s Fish and Chips located at 1910 Dundas Street East. The male suspect smashed the glass door gaining entry into the restaurant and stole a quantity of cash from the register.

The suspect is described as: male, White, medium build. He was wearing a grey and red hooded sweater, grey jeans, white shoes and a backpack.
