Police Investigating After Male with Gunshot Wound Attends Hospital in Ajax

Police are investigating after a male with a gunshot wound attended a hospital in Ajax for treatment.

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, at approximately 1:35 a.m., members of West Division responded to Lakeridge Health Ajax Pickering Hospital located at 580 Harwood Avenue South after a male attended the emergency department suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transferred to a Toronto-area trauma centre, where he remains in stable condition.
