Police Looking for Information After Shooting in Oshawa (2)

Police are looking for at least one suspect after a shooting in Oshawa.

On Sunday, January 4, 2026, at approximately 10:25 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to an armed person call in the area of Beatrice Street East and Sycamore Crescent. Police were contacted after gunshots were heard in the area. Officers arrived on scene and located a bullet casing. 

No injuries have been reported to police.

Anyone with cellphone, dash cam, or surveillance footage from this location on Sunday, January 4, 2026, between 10:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., or that has any information about this incident is asked to contact the Central East Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1705.
