Shooting in Oshawa Leaves Victim with Serious Injuries

Police are seeking for information after an overnight shooting in Oshawa left one male with serious injuries.

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at approximately 11:50 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to shooting in the area of Simcoe Street South and John Street East. Officers arrived on scene and located a male who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are currently looking for two suspects who fled the area prior to police arrival.

The first suspect is described as: a male wearing a black baseball hat, black jacket, red hooded sweater, red pants and black shoes.

The second suspect is described as: male, with long dread-style hair. He was wearing a light-coloured hat, bright blue jacket with black shoulders and a white logo on the rear right shoulder and dark pants with a white stripe down the side.

Investigators believe this incident to be an isolated incident.
