Suspects Wanted After Jewelry Store Robbery in Oshawa
One youth is in custody and at least three suspects are wanted after a jewelry store robbery in Oshawa.
On Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at approximately 6:40 p.m., members of Central East Division responded to a robbery call at Oshawa Jewellery located in the Oshawa Centre at 419 King Street West. Three males entered the mall and attended the jewelry store where they smashed display cases before fleeing with jewelry. One of the suspects was intercepted in the mall and taken into custody. The other two suspects fled the mall into a waiting vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled the area prior to police arrival.
No customers or employees suffered any physical injuries.
A 13-year-old male from Hamilton is charged with: Robbery, Disguise with Intent, and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5000.
He was held for a bail hearing.
At least three suspects remain outstanding.
Anyone that was in the mall or parking lot between 6:00 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and has cell phone footage or information is asked to contact police.
