UPDATE #1 Female Charged After Three Firefighters Struck in Uxbridge

A female has been charged after she collided her vehicle with three firefighters who were assisting with a collision in Uxbridge.

On Sunday, November 16, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of North Division along with members of the Uxbridge Fire Department responded to a collision in the area of Wagg Road near Old Highway 47, involving a transport truck and pick-up truck. 

While emergency crews were assisting with this collision, a Hyundai SUV lost control, hitting three firefighters and the driver of the transport truck, before crashing through a fence and into a tree. 

Investigators with the Collision Investigation Unit (CIU) have concluded their investigation and charged the driver of the Hyundai.

A 42-year-old female from Courtice is charged with: Careless Driving Cause Bodily Harm x3.

She was issued a court summons to attend Provincial Offences Court.

Three Firefighters Struck by Vehicle in Uxbridge  

Three firefighters were struck by a vehicle while they were assisting with a collision in Uxbridge. 

On Sunday November 16, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of North Division and Uxbridge Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle collision at Wagg Road near Old Highway 47. The collision involved a transport truck and pick-up truck towing a trailer and is believed to be a result of hazardous road conditions due to snow and ice.
