UPDATE #1 – Three People Arrested in Bowmanville Shooting Investigation

Investigators have arrested three suspects in relation to a shooting that occurred in Bowmanville in 2024.

On Sunday, June 2, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of East Division responded to a shooting in the area of Concession St E and Mearns Ave in Bowmanville.  Officers arrived on scene and located a 25-year-old male, a 25-year-old female and a 22-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds. 

All injuries were non-life threatening.

Investigators have arrested three suspects.

Rocco TRENTADUE, age 23, of Clarington is charged with: Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound; Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm and Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence or Registration Certificate.

Jarrett BARBARA, age 22, of Oshawa is charged with: Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm and Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence or Registration Certificate.

Dylan HEINOLA, age 23, of Clarington is charged with: Discharge Firearm with Intent to Wound; Possess Loaded Regulated Firearm; Possess Restricted or Prohibited Firearm Knowingly Not Holding a Licence or Registration Certificate and Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking.

They were held for a bail hearing.
