Youth Arrested for Drug Trafficking and Possession of a Loaded Firearm

A male youth has been arrested and a loaded firearm was seized after a break-and-enter call in Oshawa.

On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 12:00 p.m., members from Central East Division responded to a break-and-enter call in the area of Kenneth Avenue and William Street East. Officers located a male inside the residence. The male provided a false identity and was arrested. A loaded firearm, a quantity of drugs and cash were seized.

A 17-year-old male from Toronto is charged with several offences including: Enter Where Prohibited; Obstruct a Public / Peace Officer; Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking – Cocaine; Possess Schedule I Substance for Trafficking – Fentanyl; Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted / Prohibited Firearm; Possess Loaded Firearm; Breach of Probation and Possess Contrary to Order. 

He was held for a bail hearing.
