Arson Damages Three Homes Under Construction in Pickering

Three homes still under construction have been damaged following an arson in Pickering.

On Sunday, May 3, 2026, at approximately 5:40 a.m., members of West Division responded to an assist fire call in the area of Catalina Manor and Alexander Knox Road. Officers arrived on scene and assisted fire services with traffic control as they worked to extinguish three active fires. All homes were under construction and unoccupied at the time of the fire. No injuries have been reported to police.

Further investigation revealed that at approximately 5:15 a.m., three persons of interest were seen in the area.
