DRPS Launches Police Week at Oshawa Centre

DRPS will officially launch 2026 Police Week on Monday, May 11, 2026. This year, Police Week runs from May 10 to 16, 2026 with the theme: Protecting Ontario through Service. The public awareness campaign encourages connections between the police and the communities they serve.

We acknowledge the crucial partnership between members of a police service, other police services and first responders, as well as between the police and the organizations and people in the communities they serve.

Officers from the DRPS Community Safety Unit will be hosting an information booth at the Oshawa Centre from Monday, May 11, through to Thursday May 14, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

DRPS will have vintage cruisers on display, as well as free giveaways and information.
