Drug Investigation Leads to Arrest in Ajax

Investigators with the Drug Enforcement Unit have arrested a male following an investigation in Ajax.

On Tuesday, August 25, 2026, members of the Drug Enforcement Unit concluded an investigation and executed a search warrant at a residence in Ajax. Several persons and a quantity of drugs were located in the residence, including over 560 grams of cocaine, oxycodone, drug paraphernalia, Canadian currency, and a loaded prohibited firearm magazine.

A'Yaan SHEIKH, age 20 from Ajax is charged with: Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (cocaine), Possess Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking (oxycodone), Possess Prohibited Device.

He was held for a bail hearing.
