Fatal Motorcycle Collision in Ajax

One male has died following a motorcycle collision in Ajax.

 

On Thursday, June 26, 2026, at approximately 3:45 p.m., members from West Division responded to collision involving a motorcycle and motor vehicle in the area of Harwood Avenue North and Kerrison Drive East.

 

A grey/silver Honda motorcycle was travelling southbound on Harwood Avenue North approaching Kerrison Drive East. A black Chevrolet Malibu was travelling northbound on Harwood Avenue North and turned left into the path of the motorcycle. Prior to the collision, the motorcycle was observed by witnesses travelling at a high rate of speed. 

 

The 34-year-old male motorcyclist was taken to a local area hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the Malibu remained on scene and is cooperating with police. There were no other injuries. 

 

Members of the DRPS Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roads in the area were closed for several hours while evidence was collected.
