Female Seriously Injured After Single Vehicle Collision in Bowmanville
A 38-year-old female is in critical but stable condition after a single vehicle collision in Bowmanville.
On Monday, August 17, 2026, at approximately 7:25 a.m. officers from East Division responded to a single motor vehicle collision in the area of Energy Drive and Holt Road.
The 38-year-old female was driving a black 2025 Nissan Sentra westbound on Energy Drive, west of Holt Road, when it left the roadway and struck a hydro pole on the north side. The driver was transported to a Toronto area trauma hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Members of the DRPS - Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene to conduct an investigation. The roadway was closed for several hours while evidence was collected. At this time, the investigation remains ongoing.
